Jocelyn Whipple is a responsible fashion and materials specialist with expertise in environmental and social systems change. She has been an instigator in many spotlight initiatives that have shaped the direction of the sustainable fashion movement as it stands today.
She is on a permanent mission to celebrate the complex stories behind the textiles we use, the products we produce and the clothes we wear. Her passion lies in the universal value of textiles and the balance points between design concept, resource use, function and end of life — everything is connected.
Jocelyn creates one-of-a-kind garments and household textile products from French, antique and vintage linen and hemp. Products are often hand stitched, and garments are mostly one size. Household pieces are kept simple and universal, made to be both emotionally and physically durable.
