Join textile artist and sustainable fashion pioneer Arati Monappa for an inspiring pop-up display, offering an intimate look into her journey and creative practice.
Over the course of two hours, Monappa will present highlights from an exhibition of naturally dyed garments, a groundbreaking body of work that spans clothing, home furnishings, and contemporary textile design rooted in heritage techniques.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore examples from her archive, hear about the challenges and triumphs of developing eco-conscious dyeing methods, and gain insights into the traditional processes that underpin her work.
Monappa will also read selected excerpts from her published book, providing a rare chance to learn directly from a lifelong advocate of sustainable textile craft.
Entry includes a free signed copy of Monappa's published book 'Music of the blocks, Dance of the dyes'.
