Loop, 15 Camden Passage, London N1 8EA

Loop is a shop in London devoted to knitting, crochet, and embroidery. Inside you'll find hand-dyed yarns and threads alongside vintage and handmade haberdashery—a quiet textile heaven. Known as pioneers in the knitting world, Loop has built its reputation on an exceptional range of natural fibres, including hand-dyed yarns sourced from the UK, Europe, Japan, and the Americas.

Beyond yarn, the shop stocks a thoughtfully curated selection of haberdashery—buttons, ribbons, scissors, embroidery and mending threads—each piece chosen for both usefulness and beauty. A rich collection of books, magazines, and patterns sits alongside, ready to spark ideas and support makers of every kind.

Loop works closely with textile designers and artists including Mina Perhonen, Julie Arkell, Hikaru Noguchi, Aitor Saraiba, and Nathalie Lété, who create special pieces for the shop. A programme of classes—from gentle introductions to advanced masterclasses—brings visiting teachers from around the world.

Now in its twentieth year, Loop remains a celebration of colour, creativity, textiles, and the enduring pleasure of making by hand.

Event Description
Aitor Saraiba moves between worlds. Born in Spain, his practice spans illustration, ceramics, and textiles — each discipline feeding the others, each work marked by an emotional sincerity that is instantly recognisable. His collaborations with Loewe, the Museo del Prado, Sajou, and Cohana speak to a rare quality: the ability to bring a deeply personal artistic language into conversation with institutions that understand craft as a form of cultural memory.

The Book; Embroider, Mend and Sew is Saraiba's most intimate work to date — a meditation on transformation, tenderness, and the slow unfolding of the self. Loop is proud to host the first English-language launch of this extraordinary book, before anywhere else in the world.

Join us for an evening with Aitor himself: a book signing, a chance to meet the artist, and the quiet joy of being present at a beginning. Aitor will also be leading workshops at Loop that weekend — a rare opportunity to learn from a maker whose work moves so many.

Ticket holders receive 10% off purchases at Loop on the night.

Event Cancellation Policy
All bookings are non-refundable. However, if you let us know that you are unable to attend an event you have booked at least two weeks before the event, we will open up your place. If we find another participant, you will be offered a credit note.
