Join renowned textile designer Clarissa Hulse as she opens her doors for an exclusive afternoon spent behind the scenes at her magical Alladin’s cave of a studio, as part of London Textile Month 2025. Known for her vivid, nature-inspired textiles and bold botanical prints, Hulse will share insights into her creative process — from getting out in nature to choosing colour palettes and finalising a design.
During this 2-hour session, a small group of guests will hear from Hulse about the journey of her 25 years in business, have a rare chance to see her sketch books and mood boards spanning decades, and hear all about her inspiration and design process. She will demonstrate screen printing, showcasing the techniques behind her signature style and a few lucky attendees will even have the chance to roll up their sleeves and try their hand at printing too! Guests will have an opportunity to shop, with a 20% discount, a curated selection of Hulse's designs – from hand-printed backing cloth artworks to luminous cashmere scarves.
Whether you're a budding textile designer, a lover of colour and pattern, or simply curious about the artistry behind contemporary British textiles, this event offers a rare opportunity to learn from one of the industry’s leading lights.

Had a wonderful time . Clarissa is such a warm open person , sharing stories about her life and experience as a designer and business woman . Really quite inspiring !
Fab afternoon with Clarissa and the team.had a lovely welcome with a coffee. Heard how Clarissa grew up loving pattern and fell for screen printing and how she started the business and how it evolved over the years. Then got to have a go with gloves and a pinny. My friend and I chose a couple of amazing cushions and a scarf each from the archives. Thank you to Clarissa and the team
It was very interesting & informative. Demo was fab & I loved the fact we had a chance to do our own bit of screen printing
