Wini-Tapp is a design-led children’s brand creating joyful, imaginative paper products that celebrate movement, character, and storytelling. Founded by an art educator with a background in creative learning, the business grew from a love of making and a belief in the power of visual play to inspire curiosity and confidence in young people.

The founder’s practice began with artist-inspired cut-and-make puppet kits, designed to introduce children to the visual language of great artists through hands-on creativity. These playful characters encourage children to cut, assemble, and animate their own figures while absorbing key elements of colour, shape, and style, offering an accessible way to celebrate and pay homage to influential artists.

This strong visual identity now runs throughout the Wini-Tapp collection. The brand is best known for its animal-themed circus mobiles and garlands, created for nurseries, children’s bedrooms, and play spaces. Handmade using sustainably sourced paper and card, each piece features original illustrations and carefully balanced designs that gently move with the slightest breeze, bringing spaces to life.

With a growing cast of characters and a distinctive artistic voice, Wini-Tapp continues to explore new products that blend art education, storytelling, and beautifully crafted design.
