Lucy Pick Textiles
Guided by the legacy of the craft movement of Britain, Lucy creates textiles for thoughtful interiors, using natural and slow processes. Linen and hemp fabrics are coloured with native and seasonal plant dyes produced in her home studio on the South coast of England. Simple hand-carved wooden blocks or stencils are used to create modernist patterns often inspired by her love of brutalist architecture.
These fabrics are then sewn into hand stitched quilted works for display or larger lengths are made to commission for interior design. Lucy makes an accompanying small range of cushions and lampshades, with British wool inserts retaining the integrity of her products.
