Miesje Chafer

Miesje Chafer is a designer, maker and artist whose primary focus lies in textiles—and occasionally paper. With over a decade’s experience, she brings a rich skill-set to her creative practice, covering techniques such as beading, patchwork (by hand and machine), screen-printing, embroidery, needlepoint and surface-pattern design.

Miesje shares this wealth of knowledge through regular tutorials and fun project prompts designed to spark creativity, develop technical confidence and invite experimentation. She creates a space for makers to join her on that journey, watching as she tests new processes, embraces the unexpected and reflects honestly on the ups and downs of practice.
