About the Author

Dr Tereza Hejzlarová, of Palacký University in Olomouc, likewise specialises in textile history and has contributed substantial scholarship on weaving, embroidery, and dress of the region. Together, they combine deep knowledge of both the collection and its wider Silk Road heritage.
