Ria Burns Knitwear and Natural Dyes
Ria Burns Knitwear and Natural Dyes designs and makes naturally dyed knitwear in their North Somerset studio. Each piece is made by Ria using regenerative lambswool sourced from a local farm, and is naturally dyed with plants grown in their garden. Ria’s eponymous label has been making knitwear since 2018, specialising in knitted accessories and garments that are designed to be looked after, cherished and passed on.
Alongside making knitwear, Ria is an experienced workshop facilitator in natural dyeing and machine knitting, and is the author of ‘Dyeing Yarn Naturally’ published by the Crowood Press in 2023. Ria will have their book and natural dye kits for sale alongside their knitwear at the fair.
