Safia Minney - Indilisi
Indilisi is a project by award-winning sustainable fashion entrepreneur Safia Minney, with friends, partners and Fair Trade groups in Bangladesh, India and Kenya. They are on a mission to build a brand committed to making a positive impact on the fashion industry.
They believe the clothing we wear should be a reflection of our values – and this means knowing that they support fair trade, organic farming practices and a just transition for those in the supply chain.
Indilisi has a strong focus on heritage crafts and handweaving. They partner with groups, such as Swallows in Bangladesh, and other fair trade social enterprises, to create their collections.
They believe in the importance and power of craft and their first collection uses certified organic yarn that is handwoven, hand tailored and hand embroidered in rural villages in Bangladesh.

Julia I am lucky enough to have two Indilisi garments and both are beautifully made in organically grown cotton, with flattering cuts and little design touches that give them a bit of flare. I love that Indilisi values craft and fair trade practices and that I can feel confident in their integrity. I've had lots of compliments and it feels good knowing that I'm supporting such an ethical brand.
