Sally-Anne Thompson - Handmade Leather Bags
Sally-Anne studied Theatre Wardrobe and costume history at Liverpool and went on to work in a variety of theatres and freelance for production companies in the UK.
The skills she acquired around leatherwork stayed with her and over the last 15 years have become her Penny Lane based company ‘Handmade Leather Bags’.
Sally-Anne sources, conditions, cuts and constructs a range of bags from repurposed leather - so each bag is completely individual and responsibly made.
There is a focus on functionality and traditional leather working techniques. Each bag is saddle stitched entirely by hand using strong linen thread and finished with sturdy buckles and hardware from British foundry's.
