The Chung Young Yang Embroidery Museum celebrates the art, history and cultural significance of embroidery and textile arts from Korea and across the world. Founded in 2004 by textile historian and embroiderer Dr Young Yang Chung and housed within Sookmyung Women’s University, the museum’s collection encompasses hundreds of finely worked pieces—ranging from traditional East Asian embroidered garments and ritual cloths to international textile art—illuminating the evolving techniques, meanings and creativity of fibre art across cultures and eras.
