The Museo del Traje (Centro de Investigación del Patrimonio Etnológico) celebrates the evolution of dress, costume and textile culture in Spain and beyond. As a national museum under Spain’s Ministry of Culture and Sports, it houses extensive collections of historic garments, regional costumes, fashion and related accessories, telling the story of how clothing reflects identity, society and craftsmanship from traditional dress to 20th-century fashion.
