The Museu de l’Art de la Pell celebrates the decorative and applied arts of leather, housing the distinguished collection assembled by Vic tanner Andreu Colomer Munmany. Set within the historic Convent del Carme, the museum showcases a rich variety of objects crafted wholly or partly from leather — from embossed and gilt panels (guadamassil) and fine cordovan boxes to saddles, chairs, screens and figures for traditional shadow theatre — illuminating the global artistry, technique and cultural significance of leatherwork across time and regions.
