Stitching with Nature explores the creative possibilities of bringing plants and textiles together, transforming dried flowers and botanical materials into tactile works inspired by the fleeting beauty of the natural world. Focusing on lavender, cornflower, dahlia, and statice, Katerina Knight combines the histories and folklore of each plant with practical advice on growing, gathering, and incorporating them into textile art.
Bridging horticulture and handcraft, the book offers techniques and ideas for creating unique textile pieces while following the changing rhythms of the seasons. Through a gentle, hands-on approach, Knight explores how time spent in nature and making by hand can encourage creativity, mindfulness, and a deeper connection with the landscapes around us.
