Susie Petrou has a lifelong passion for collecting historic textiles and clothing, particularly folk pieces rich with story and cultural memory. She is inspired by the exceptional craftsmanship found in these handmade works—their carefully constructed forms, their unique character, and the subtle beauty of colours softened by time.

Her practice involves repairing and restoring antique garments and textiles, as well as reimagining them into one-of-a-kind skirts, tops, and embroidered homeware. Using delicate silk threads and a sensitive approach to preservation, Susie gives new life to the treasured pieces within her collection.
