The Merinos Tekstil Sanayi Müzesi celebrates the industrial and social history of textile manufacture in Bursa—one of Turkey’s foremost textile cities. Housed in the restored Merinos Woolly Industry Factory, founded in 1938 as a state‑led modern textile enterprise, the museum traces the transformation of Merino wool into woven fabrics, charting both technological evolution and human experience within the factory environment. Exhibitions include historic looms, industrial machinery, fabric samples and displays on local production techniques, while interactive workshops — such as silk pulling and weaving demonstrations — offer hands‑on insight into traditional and mechanised craft.
