The Fashion and Textile Museum presents a dynamic programme of exhibitions celebrating fashion, textiles, costume and related design disciplines from Britain and around the world. Founded in 2003 by Dame Zandra Rhodes and housed in a striking building designed by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta, the museum has become a creative hub for exploring contemporary textile and fashion practice, historical context and design innovation. Rather than a permanent collection, it hosts rotating displays, talks, courses and workshops that bring fresh perspectives on material culture and creative practice to visitors.
