3 Pairs of Wool Socks in Natural Colors.

A collection of socks ranging from natural Shetland Black, to a pewter natural Shetland medium grey to a shimmer silver of natural Gotland light grey. Our wool for our socks come from our happy sheep, carefully sheared then minimally washed and processed into yarn at a small woman owned mill in Pennsylvania. The yarn is brought back to the farm and each sock is knitted by hand on our 100 year old sock machine. This machine creates tiny stitches that wear well.

Each pair comes with a little bobbin of extra yarn, should the need for darning arise. These socks are truly old school tradition in that the wool was minimally processed to preserve the softness, durability and comfort of the natural wool. (Unlike super wash, which is scoured in heavy chemicals to remove the outer scales of the wool.) After a few times wearing and hand washing, laying the socks to dry, you should be able to wash in the machine in cold water, delicate cycle-and put on a towel to dry.

Materials: The Black and Medium Grey Socks: 

80% Shetland Wool, 10% Nylon, 10% Merino Wool , with added strand of cobweb lycra.

The Light Grey Socks: 60% Gotland Wool, 10% Nylon, 30% Merino Wool, with added strand of cobweb lycra.
