The ouevre of this Portuguese textile artist takes on an identity of its own, born out of the fusion of traditional techniques and materials with design and art through contemporary language and aesthetics. João Bruno grew up surrounded by wool, mainly due to his mother’s influence, since she was very passionate about making the typical and traditional Arraiolos rugs.
