Bless Stories: A World of Consciously Curated Creativity
Bless Stories is the thoughtfully crafted vision of award-winning retailer, stylist, author, and holistic practitioner Ashlyn Gibson.
Ashlyn’s latest endeavour, Bless Stories India, embodies a soulful approach to creation and collaboration. This project is the realisation of a shared dream between Ashlyn in London and Shruti Khandewal in Delhi. Together, they envision a workshop in Jaipur rooted in empowerment, respect, and sisterhood. Alongside producing their own label, they have begun partnering with carefully selected retailers and wellness studios.
Their collection features handpicked vintage Kantha quilts, each chosen for its intricate details and rich hues, ready to transform any space into a textile sanctuary.
Standout pieces include unique, unstructured jackets crafted from overprinted indigo Kantha quilts. These versatile, one-of-a-kind jackets pair effortlessly with daily denim, each reflecting its own personality. Customers can also select a Kantha quilt to customise their favourite Bless silhouette, receiving a bespoke British-made jacket delivered straight to their door.
A collaboration with Norfolk-based designer Wildwoodmaker explores the challenge of repurposing every scrap of fabric. Leftover Kantha remnants have been transformed by doll-maker Sara Sherriff into a limited-edition collection of handcrafted characters, debuting at the Selvedge Winter Fair 2025.
In January 2025, Ashlyn will close her shop to focus on creating intimate, seasonal shopping salons at her distinctive East London warehouse home, while dedicating more time to nurturing her Jaipur project.
