Here they will learn about iconic artists and visit a legendary tweed factory. Finally, the tour will travel to Manchester, once the heart of England’s cotton industry and now a dynamic city where textile design is thriving.
Finally, discover the bold designs and colours of Sweden on The Grand Swedish Textile Tour, October 5-14, 2020. The voyage begins in Gothenburg where guests will discover the history and future of Swedish costume and fashion. The tour will then make its way to the beautiful city of Stockholm where travellers will experience the colourful cacophony of Josef Frank’s textile design and the Swedish minimalist aesthetic that has influenced design worldwide.
