Invitation to join us at The New Craftsmen Gallery

We'd like to invite our subscribers and contributors to join us for a glass of wine to celebrate the publication of issue 63 on Wednesday 11 March, 6.30pm-8pm. During the evening Katherine May, one of our contributors, will demonstrate Indigo dyeing and you can meet the Selvedge team and the talented writers and illustrators who have helped create issue 63. Founded in 2012 by Catherine Lock, Natalie Melton and Mark Henderson, the gallery represents 75 craftsmen working across all media in their Mayfair shop.  The New Craftsmen represents a vision of sustainable luxury, expressed through a dedication to makers, materials, method and design. They have cast aside the bohemian image of crafts prevalent in the 1970s and replaced it with sleek modern branding and a Mayfair address – come and see for yourself on the 11th of March.
