MERCHANT & MILLS SEWING SCHOOL
Would you like to know how to make you're own individual dress or how to tailor a shirt to fit you perfectly?
The thrill of wearing clothes you love is one thing, but wearing clothes you've made yourself – and truly love – is unmatchable.
Join us at Chateau Dumas, we have one space left this summer for a sewing School where seamstress Carolyn Denham from Merchant and Mills, whose motto is “Keep it simple and do it well” will help you establish a skill set or refine your existing knowledge.
Taking place at Chateau Dumas, in the idyllic countryside just beyond Toulouse, this week long course will be an opportunity to learn, socialise, and relax. You'll leave not only with a healthy glow but with an outfit to love, a classic Merchant & Mills bag and the skills to keep on making long after the course finishes.
Merchant & Mills' objective is 'to elevate sewing to its proper place in the creative world, respecting the craftsmanship it entails' and since launching in 2010 their patterns and produce have become retails cues of shops worth visiting. We've featured them, and their original and stylish approach to making, in a number of issues.
The Selvedge team will be on board to help host the event, touch up on some sewing skills and make some beautiful clothes.

The course runs from 15-22 August 2015
