Costume designer Marie-Chantale Vaillancourt has taken inspiration from the paintings of Gustav Klimt and travel in India and Eastern Europe. Bright Old Things, Selfridges London, 8 January - late February Selfridges will be showcasing fourteen “Bright Old Things” – outstanding individuals who have stormed the art world in their later years. Alexander McQueen, Savage Beauty, The V&A. 14 March – 19 July The V&A will be hosting the largest retrospective of McQueen’s work ever seen in Europe, A must see for fashion lovers. SELVEDGE SPRING FAIR, LONDON, CHELSEA OLD TOWN HALL, 25 April A rare opportunity to meet the makers and purchase their beautifully crafted textiles, this year featuring a section dedicated to new designers.
