Cambridge Imprint, a creative collaboration of three sisters who share a love of pattern. They make patterned paper, stationery and homeware with a sophisticated palette and a distinctively English sensibility. Printed in intense, beautiful colours, their products draw on a range of influences from Bloomsbury and the Arts and Crafts movement to mid-century modernism. Their designs are created using simple hand-stencilled prints and are renowned for their lively, hand-drawn aesthetic. Their signature simplicity and directness of mark are paired with meticulous attention to quality of colour and detail.
Cambridge Imprint’s matte, uncoated patterned paper is produced from sustainable sources and is recyclable and biodegradable. It is printed on a lithographic press by a long-established printers’ cooperative in London using vegetable oil-based inks, hand-mixed for each job, a process that closely mirrors the way the prototypes are screen printed in the Cambridge workshop. Cambridge Imprint works with a range of English box-makers, book-binders, potteries and textile printers to make its patterns and papers into enduring, beautiful, useful things.
