Support Weaver House's Weaving Revival
Weaver House is a yarn shop, textile studio and weaving school located in Philadelphia. They weave heirloom textiles in honour of craft tradition, to regain tactility and a hand-making consciousness within the home and in relation to the body. Founded to inspire communal collaboration, weaving education and creative gathering, they believe in the preservation of the space we inhabit by sustainable making and transparent production.
Weaver House has recently launched campaign to support their revival. Due to the closure of University of the Arts in Philadelphia, USA, Weaver House rescued16 Macomber looms, a small textile library, and an assortment of weaving tools from the school to ensure this equipment can be used for weaving education once again.
