At this year's Selvedge Makers' Fair, Bath, Indigowares will be selling a range of slow fashion dyed with natural dyes, hand-carved block prints, and fabrics woven on traditional looms.
Founder and Designer Lisa Reddings is a traditional textile artisan who places ethics and sustainability at the core of her design practice. She began her career in the fashion industry as a conceptual print designer to a range of well-known brands including Roberto Cavalli, Dorothy Perkins, and Topshop, as well as independent print studios. Growing disillusioned by the fast fashion industry, Lisa set out to build a brand on her own ethos of craft, sustainability, and traceability within each garment. Indigowares was born through this commitment and has become a driving force in the slow fashion revolution.
