The Kelp Jacket is a short, front-opening style crafted from hand-quilted silk, with abstract patterns worked in woollen yarns and set against a contrasting polka-dot printed cotton lining. A broad mandarin collar frames the neckline, while Chinese button-loop fastening and flap pockets bring a distinctive character to the design.

Full-length sleeves, a centre-back vent and a gently curved front hem complete the relaxed silhouette. The combination of hand quilting, contrasting textiles and considered construction highlights Maku's thoughtful approach to contemporary textile design.
