Laura Miguel Baumann studied International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid; International Business Administration; and, Intercultural Communication and European Studies before she began working for the private sector as well as for non-profit organisations and public bodies. She works mainly in Spain but also in Serbia, Belgium and Germany. Currently, she is in charge of Fundesarte, the department of crafts promotion at EOI (School of Industrial Organisation, under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain). For more than 12 years she has managed cultural projects relating to craft, promoting Spanish crafts through various activities such as the Spanish National Craft Awards, international exhibitions on crafts, and the European Craft Days in Spain.
