Handwoven in Oaxaca, this rug reinterprets the visual language of traditional ceramic tiles through wool. Its geometric composition unfolds across the surface with quiet precision, translating architectural rhythm into a soft, tactile form.
The wool is dyed exclusively with natural dyes—primarily indigo and cochineal—resulting in a palette of deep blues, muted reds, and soft neutrals shaped by organic processes rather than synthetic pigments. Subtle variations in tone and texture reflect the hand of the artisan and the nature of the materials.
Developed by ARUDEKO as a special edition for Selvedge, this rug is available exclusively through our online shop. Each piece is made to order, carrying the individuality of its maker.
