Win a Floral Co-ord Set by Mii
About the Prize:
You could win a floral co-ord set by Mii, featuring the "Greta" shirt and "Mona" skirt from their Spring/Summer 2024 collection, where flowers take centre stage. This design features lavender, a quintessential bloom of France, paying homage to the brand's French roots (they split their time between Paris and Calcutta).
The shirt showcases delicately embroidered lavender stems that flow seamlessly into the skirt, creating a beautifully cohesive and elegant look in every detail.

About Mii:
Mii was founded by Lucie and Bapan, two designers who met while studying Textile Design at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. Despite their different geographies, cultures, and backgrounds, a shared vision brought them together, one that took root during a trip to India in 2009, where they met artisans facing economic hardship and the threat of displacement. Believing in the value of handmade, local production, they decided to act.
Mii, short for Made in India, exists to defend and promote ancestral textile skills at risk of disappearing. A decade on, a team now spans Brittany, Paris, and Bengal, united by a shared commitment to beauty, integrity, and meaningful work.
From the outset, Lucie and Bapan built their own workshop to oversee every stage, from creation to production, eliminating intermediaries so artisans are paid fairly and the process remains transparent. In December 2023, they opened a new workshop in the Bardhaman district of Bengal, near Bapan's birthplace. Built using vernacular, bioclimatic techniques, it offers natural light and ventilation, and combines hand embroidery, block printing, and screen printing with modern machinery. Weaving remains rooted in the surrounding villages, on traditional looms, with the same families of weavers for over ten years.
The site also includes a natural wastewater purification system using plants and bacteria, an organic plot, and an indigo field reviving a crop lost to the region since colonial times. Garments are made entirely on site, using only natural materials such as cotton, linen, silk, and wool.
Mii plans to open a training school to pass these skills on to local families, reflecting the social and environmental purpose at the heart of the brand.
