Win a Scarf from Jo Gordon

About the Prize:

Wrap yourself in artistry this winter with Jo Gordon’s Large Geometric Scarf, a standout piece from her latest collection. Crafted from the softest 100% Scottish-spun lambswool, certified by the Responsible Wool Standard and dyed with GOTS-certified organic dyes, this luxurious scarf embodies both craftsmanship and conscience.

Soft yet structured, its smooth jacquard knit reveals a reversible design — one side adorned with bold geometric patterns, the other with soft, contrasting stripes. Measuring 215 x 32cm, it’s generously sized to wear draped over the shoulders, wrapped snugly for warmth, or styled at home as a vibrant textile accent.

Each scarf is knitted in Leicestershire, England, by a master craftsman with over 50 years’ experience — the only knitter in the UK capable of producing such intricate, multi-coloured designs on this scale.

A true collector’s piece, this scarf is a celebration of British skill, sustainable materials, and timeless design that is made to bring warmth and colour to every season.

Worth £378.

About Jo Gordon:

Jo Gordon’s journey began with a hat — a beloved, much-darned piece that belonged to her father. As a teenager, she commissioned a faithful reproduction from a family friend, and when it arrived, perfectly made and beautifully functional, the seed was planted. The simple act of reimagining something well-worn became a lifelong philosophy: to create knitwear that honours tradition, celebrates craftsmanship, and serves a purpose.

Gordon’s appreciation for honest making and functional design remains at the core of her work. She champions wool as an authentic material and continues to collaborate with Scottish mills renowned for producing some of the finest knitwear in the world. Many are small, family-run businesses whose dedication to skill and quality aligns with her own. These partnerships are central to her creative process and together, they reinterpret old techniques, revive archived patterns, and experiment with production methods in unexpected ways.

Colour is another defining element of Gordon’s aesthetic. She uses it as a tool to reinvent the familiar, combining bold patterns with simple forms to evoke emotion and mood. Whether sophisticated or playful, her designs balance heritage with modernity.

From concept to creation, Jo Gordon remains involved in every step of the process, ensuring that each piece embodies endurance, craftsmanship, and care through knitwear that is made to be lived in, loved, and last.
