About ROVE:
ROVE is a British knitwear label, design studio, and small-batch factory based in Margate, Kent. Founded in 2013 by designer Rose, the brand began at a kitchen table, born from a desire to create quality, long-lasting knitwear made in Britain using traceable, British-spun wool.
From these humble beginnings, ROVE has evolved to meet the need for sustainable, low-impact clothing. Each piece is crafted from organic, natural, recycled, or biodegradable materials, with a fully transparent production process. A small team of two designs and makes every hat, scarf, and jumper in the Margate studio. Rose leads on design and sampling, while Harriet hand-finishes each piece with expert care. ROVE also works with traditional factories in and around Nottingham, where skilled technicians knit the brand’s gloves and socks using specialist British machinery.
