About Hannoh Wessel:
Born in northern Germany in 1965, Hanno Wessel studied at the prestigious École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne before beginning his career in Haute Couture, where he worked for three years. In 1994, he launched his own label, HANNOH, which was met with immediate acclaim from both buyers and the press. The debut collection was quickly picked up by renowned stores including Maria Luisa Paris, Galeries Lafayette, Henri Bendel New York, Chiarivari, and IF Soho.
Over the years, the brand’s understated sophistication and craftsmanship have earned it a global following, with distribution in more than 120 boutiques worldwide, and in 2015, Wessel partnered with expert luxury manufacturers in Italy to establish a new company, producing and distributing the evolved line H+HANNOH WESSEL. Today, every piece is made in Italy, a country that has become, alongside Paris, a true second home for the designer.
In 2017, the brand expanded its presence with the opening of two flagship stores — one in Paris at 32 Rue Jacob, in the heart of Saint-Germain, and another in New York at 362 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn.
